Retro cabinet

These cabinets were designed to be placed in a house designed and built in 1935 by architect T.J. Loggers in the Amsterdam school architecture style.

The design of the cabinets is based upon an existing vintage Amsterdam school piece of furniture. The original design was ‘cut’ in two halves, creating two cabinets that can be put together or separated to function as bedside tables. The cabinets were made in solid walnut, combined with walnut veneer. The glass windows are original windows from the house itself, that were leftover due to renovation works.
